Chris Winstead is a champion for others — and he really enjoys building people’s bolster. He’s impassioned by seeing people walk through the front door to their future, sure-footed on a path to wealth creation.
Shortly after moving to his wife’s native San Antonio to start a family in 2013, Chris founded Onsite Youth Training, an after-school program that brings dance and fitness classes to underprivileged districts, providing all students access to fun and healthy extracurricular programs, which tend to be expensive and privately owned. After Onsite had grown and aided families in meeting some of their goals, a longtime mentor of Chris’ encouraged him to consider a career in real estate, which would allow him to guide families toward their goals in a new way. Chris loves helping people in these ways; he would do it even if he weren’t paid.
Chris became a licensed agent in 2018 and has been working mostly with first-time homebuyers and families since. Having benefited greatly — both personally and professionally — from caring and generous mentors, Chris understands how to apply a personal touch to real estate transactions and is driven to pay that graciousness forward.
In his free time, Chris enjoys spending time with his wife and two kids, cross-country motorcycle riding, and volunteering with San Antonio’s youth, including through the city’s Good Samaritan Center.
